Parisa Emami, MD, MPH

Dr. Emami is an assistant professor of ophthalmology and director of the uveitis service at the University of California Davis. She is specialized in Vitreoretinal surgery and uveitis. She has more than 30 peer reviewed publications and is involved in resident and fellow training and multiple research studies.

Christina Franzese, MD

Dr. Franzese is a general otolaryngologist, with a specialty focus on Allergy and Sinus Diseases, and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at University of Missouri Medical Center.

Eric Gantwerker, MD, MMSc(MedEd), FACS

Dr. Gantwerker is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist and Associate Professor at Northwell Health/Hofstra.  He holds a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in Medical Education from Harvard Medical School. Clinically focuses on complex aerodigestive and airway disorders. His academic interests include quality, professional development, cognitive theory, and advanced technology in medical education.

Alfred Marc Iloreta, MD

Alfred Marc Iloreta is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and member of the Division of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship in Skull Base Surgery and Rhinology at Thomas Jefferson University.

Adam Johnson, MD, PhD

Olivia Lee, MD

Dr. Olivia Lee is dual fellowship trained in both corneal diseases and uveitis. As a high school student, an internship at the Laboratory of Immunology at the National Eye Institute sparked her interest in uveitis and ophthalmology. She received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and trained at both New York Eye & Ear Infirmary as well as Jules Stein Eye Institute. Prior to her arrival at UCI, Dr. Lee served as the cornea fellowship program director at Doheny Eye Center UCLA.

Adrienne Scott, MD

Adrienne W. Scott, M.D., is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  Dr. Scott’s clinical research focuses on vitreoretinal diseases, with an emphasis on sickle cell retinopathy, retinal imaging, and health disparities in eye care.

Jason Showmaker, MD

Dr. Showmaker trained in ENT because he loves that he can help people of all ages from 2 days old to >100 years of age with a vast array of medical problems and treatment options. Many of the problems he faces in ENT are simple fixes that really help patients’ quality of life such as placing ear tubes for children or performing sinus surgery for adults. Alyssa Stephany , MD, SFHM, FAAP

Dr. Stephany is a board certified in both Medicine and Pediatrics. Currently she is the Director of the Leadership Center for Physicians at Children’s Mercy and was previously the Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine Programs at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she grew the program from 12 to 50 providers, improved clinical and productivity as well as care delivery outcome metrics.

Virginia Utz, MD
